Office Mandate/Function
- Formulates integrated municipal development plans as mandated by the Local Government Code of 1991.
- Prepares the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and zoning ordinances.
- Conducts studies, research, and data analysis for development planning.
- Monitors and evaluates the implementation of development programs and projects.
- Provides technical assistance to municipal offices and barangays on planning-related tasks.
- Maintains updated socioeconomic and physical development data.
- Coordinates with national, regional, and provincial planning bodies on development matters.
- Prepares investment programs such as the Annual Investment Program.
- Ensures that local plans align with national and regional development goals.
